Orbia
Everything is in orbit around something else whether we're aware of it or not and now we're playing Orbia. A little alien has set out on a journey to travel the stars and maybe settle down on another planet. However, the alien is still at the whim of physics and gravity that allows them to shoot through space. This is what they'll need to master if they want to find that new planet or even make it to a new planet. They need to be careful though, as other aliens are preventing them from having a smooth journey across the stars.
About Orbia
Using physics to navigate a world or a universe is pretty common, but that doesn't make it any easier to do unless you're a physicist. This game is all about launching yourself through space so that you can get from one point to the next. The little alien is cute and you want to do your best to keep it safe. Still, it's the need to keep moving, the desire to move quickly from one place to the next. When you have such urgency, you're bound to make mistakes and you need to be careful not to be rash. This alien's journey is in your hands.
How to Play
Orbia is a 2D arcade game about helping a little alien get from one point to the next only using the mouse. To make the alien move, you just need to click the Left Mouse Button. The alien will travel in a straight line from one point to the next. The goal is to get the alien across the universe by moving it from place to place. The alien is vulnerable and if it gets knocked out of traveling, then it has to return to the last major point.
When you begin, the alien will be positioned at one point. From there, the alien has to move to the next point in the sequence of the journey. When the alien isn't traveling, it's floating and waiting to move on. As the alien moves from point to point, it'll encounter obstacles in the form of hostile alien entities that are rotating around the different points. They'll be rotating in various formations with gaps between them. Once the alien reaches the point, the hostile aliens will disappear. There are opportunities to gather power-ups like shields which will block damage from aliens and hourglasses which will slow hostile alien movement. As you move from point to point, you'll gather gems and complete quests for more rewards.
Tips and Tricks
This is a timing game where you need to watch the next point and observe how the enemy aliens are moving. As long as you're watching the aliens and aiming for the gaps, you'll be able to make it through the points easily. There's plenty of time to watch and wait so there's no hurry to move.
