Golf is often called one of the more boring sports to play and observe, but that's why creatives try to change that with things like Golf Orbit. You are a golfer who has tried to become a professional, but you still need a lot of practice. The good news is that you've found your way onto an unusual golf course with other unusual golfers, and you can practice all you want. The bad news is that you may have more strength than you realize, which can be challenging to manage in golf. Even so, it'll make for quite a spectacle.

About Golf Orbit

Golfing requires much more precision and concentration than a person might realize, but video games try to change that. This game takes gold a little less seriously and, therefore, makes it more fun. You are a strange person who has decided to use whatever they can get their hands on to hit a ball as far and as hard as you can. If anything gets in the way, well, that's not your problem. All you can do is focus on the task and hit that ball to go in one of the holes spread across the course. Golf true, golf hard.

How to Play

Golf Orbit is a 2D sports game about being a golfer and hitting the ball as hard as you can using the mouse. To hit the ball, click the Left Mouse Button to stop the power meter at the strength and angle you want. When putting, hold the Left Mouse Button and drag the cursor to change your directory, then release to putt. The goal is to hit the ball far and get it in the hole. With every hit, you'll earn rewards.

The main menu lets you spend the coins and gems you earn on your golfer's appearance and upgrades to improve their power and the ball's behavior. When you're ready to swing, click on an empty part of the screen to stop the power meter. Based on where it stops, the ball will fly far and/or high and stop a few moments after it lands. Trees, bunkers, and water will stop the ball rapidly on contact. If you get a Perfect power score, the ball can blast through multiple objects. If the ball stops on the green, you'll get a chance to putt it. Anytime your ball gets in the hole, your coin reward will be multiplied.

Tips and Tricks

You'll be tempted to aim for the Perfect part of the power meter every time, which makes sense, but it's not the most profitable. Getting the ball in the hole to get either an Eagle or putting for a Birdie is much more valuable. As you start to earn coins, put more and more into golfer Strength just so that you can increase your base distance rewards.
