Go! Fish Go!
A lot of people will go fishing just to relax without thinking they'll catch anything and this may be because the fish are moving like in Go! Fish Go! The fish are not going to sit there and snag themselves on every nice piece of bait that comes their way, they're going to swim. They've got waters to see and places to go and they're going to be heading there at top speed. Fishing isn't their biggest concern, it's other things sharing the water with them. Yes, other fish are quite dangerous, but humans are occupying many bodies of water too so the fish need to adjust.
About Go! Fish Go!
Fish can be so fast and so slow at the same time, but that doesn't stop us from trying to reach out and snatch them. This game has the fish swimming as fast as they can to make sure they never get caught, but that's just one threat. Now they have to worry about crashing into things and this is where you come in. The fish could use some help in their swimming so that they can focus on speed without having to worry about crashing. If they do, they'll end up caught before they even flop onto the deck.
How to Play
Go! Fish Go! Is a 3D endless runner game where a fish has to keep swimming and avoid danger using the mouse or keyboard. The game uses swipe controls which you can simulate by holding down the Left Mouse Button and then dragging the cursor sharply up, down, left, or right. Double-clicking the button is necessary to activate power-ups.
Controls
- W/Up Arrow - jump
- A/Left Arrow - Move Left
- D/Right Arrow - Move Right
- S/Down Arrow - Dive
The goal is to keep swimming for as long as you can. The fish will automatically swim forward and you need to direct them away from danger. Whenever the fish hits a solid object, they'll be knocked out and the swim will end.
Before you start playing, you can visit the Aquarium to pick up your fish or head to the shop to buy power-ups. Both of these will require coins that you earn by swimming, completing tasks, and collecting. Each fish will give you different modifiers that will take effect while swimming. After you've got your fish, you can start swimming through the canal. As you do, you can collect coins scattered throughout the water and in the air. The fish will need to avoid obstacles like barricades and boats by moving, leaping, or diving. Power-ups like shields can give you brief protection when activated. The longer you last, the more coins you'll earn.
Tips and Tricks
The draw distance is fairly good so you can see what's coming in the distance. The biggest danger is the small ports which can spawn boats so be careful when approaching them from afar. There's also stiff movement, not smooth movement, so be careful when switching lanes and diving low.
