Description
Featuring Arkanoid and Breakout inspired gameplay, LavaNoid takes you on a whimsical journey with a cardboard-styled fantasy world. Your quest is to battle against bizarre monsters, while eradicating blocks with a swift ball. Your goal is to bounce the ball and aim it towards the blocks, ensuring that it doesn’t fall off the screen.
How to play
In order to ensure the ball stays in play, use your mouse or trackpad to control the paddle at the bottom of the screen. Aim the ball towards the blocks to destroy them. Power-ups will occasionally drop from destroyed blocks - make sure you catch these as they can provide valuable assistance such as increasing your paddle size or providing additional balls. Remember, allowing the ball to pass your paddle will lead to a loss of life.
Tips and Tricks
Strike at different angles by moving your paddle when hitting the ball for effecient block destruction. Try not to let power-ups distract you from keeping an eye on your ball's trajectory. Some power-ups might be more useful than others depending on the situation - choose wisely!
