Only Up Balls
Only Up Balls is an example of another time when balls are taking the game into their own hands… if they had hands. The balls aren't satisfied with rolling down ramps and bouncing only so high. They want to reach new heights, and they don't believe humans have the strength to take them to these new heights, so that they will roll up their sleeves and high themselves. Since they're balls, they have a few limitations and must work against the physics, but they still have the sturdiness and momentum to start rolling and keep on going until they reach the top.
About Only Up Balls
The balls of the gaming world can do all sorts of things, and there have been a few instances where they could do more than just bounce. This game is where balls are the stars and are on a mission to roll as high as possible. Still, they need your steady hand to navigate their less stable movement further up the structures. It'll sometimes be daunting and slow-going, but the balls need to keep rolling since losing momentum can ruin everything. It's not easy to thread the needle with a ball, but you must start thinking of it that way if you want to succeed and get those balls up.

The goal is to guide the ball to the portal at the top of the arranged structure in the level. You can play with one or two players, the latter being a split screen and a race to see who can reach the portal first. You'll have a limited number of hearts in the top corners to indicate how many Respawns you have. If your ball ever falls or gets destroyed, you'll have to restart from the beginning unless you use a Respawn.
The main menu is where you can customize your ball using coins and gems you've earned to give the ball a new look, new hat, or new trail. When your ball is ready, you can head to the level select to choose any that you've unlocked by completing previous ones. Each level will start the ball at the bottom of the structure, which must roll up. The ball must avoid falling and can interact with objects like fans, elevators, and explosive barrels to gain different movement boosts. While rolling up, you'll come across beams of light that act as checkpoints that can be returned to using a respawn if the ball falls off-course. Reach the portal to beat the level.
Tips and Tricks
The balls are hefty and take time to build speed, even on level platforms. Once they gain speed, controlling or slowing them can be difficult. Use obstacles like signs and spike balls to your advantage to brake the ball and regain control. Explosive barrels are risky because there's always a chance they'll send the ball in a random direction.
