Tangram
Shapes make up most of our understanding of the universe sort of and we have geometry to help us figure out how they go together like in Tangram. You've been given all sorts of shapes that are defined by one main thing: They have corners. Yep, you don't have to worry about curves in this universe, you just need to make sure that all the straight edges line up with other edges to put it together. It's about thinking about space and organization to come up with the full picture by combining the pieces in ways that fit together perfectly.
About Tangram
One of the first puzzles you may remember playing with involves sliding shapes into slots and making sure that they fit. This game is pretty much that but digital and with certain restrictions. You have a square grid that you have to play within and you have no idea what sort of shapes you're going to get. They've been made to slide neatly into the grid so you can't rely on the snapping tool to give you any help. What you need is your brain to observe the shapes in their size and their odd forms so that you can determine where they'll fit best.
How to Play
Tangram is a 2D puzzle game about taking all sorts of shapes and fitting them together using only the mouse. To move a shape, move the cursor over to it, hold down the Left Mouse Button, then drag the shape to where you want it before letting go. As long as it fits, it will automatically snap into any available space. The goal is to combine all the shapes you've been given at the bottom of the screen into the grid so that they all fit. You can move shapes around and try as much as you want until you solve the puzzle.
The multiple difficulty levels start with Beginner and end with Expert. The more difficult the puzzles are, the more shapes you have to arrange. When you start, the level will give you a random assortment of shapes at the bottom of the screen. You can slot the shapes into the grid in any order that you want. You can add and remove shapes at will onto the grid as you work out the solution. Once all the shapes are arranged neatly on the grid, you can move on to the next level.
