You receive a letter from an elderly relative entrusting their Soda Shop business to you as they enter retirement. Unfortunately, the shop has fallen on hard times and needs to be picked up out of the red and put into the black. With your youthful energy and attitude, you can put some fresh life into the place as you prepare to provide all the soda that the local populace could want. Just remember to pay your rent on time.

Soda is never given that much attention to be able to support a whole business, but they have a decent standing in the world of gaming. In this game, soda is a much-needed resource and you own the mines, so to speak. You're being asked to serve sodas the way that people want them and there's not a lot of wiggle room. Soda is simple so you have to serve it perfectly which can be difficult when there's only so much time in the day. Thankfully the customers are not are unreasonable as they can be, so you have the time to be the best soda purveyor that you can.
How to Play
Soda King - Cooking Rush is a 2D arcade game about running a soda shop using only the mouse. To interact with all the menu and in-game controls, you need to move the cursor over to them and click the Left Mouse Button. To change the soda type, click the tap. To serve the soda, drag the notch on the right side to low or high intensity. The goal is to make money, keep your business afloat, and expand it so that it becomes more successful. If you ever fail to pay your rent, you'll be evicted.
At the start, you'll only have one type of soda and one type of glass. As you progress and earn money, you gain more soda types and different equipment. When a customer comes in, they'll stop at the counter and tell you the kind of soda they want, how much they want, and how they want it served. You need to pour until it matches their request and the closer you get to their asking serving, the happier they'll be and the more money you'll earn. If you serve too much, too little, or incorrectly, the customer will leave and you won't get paid. The clock in the bottom right corner indicates how much time you have left before the working day ends at five. There will also be thieves that will try to steal from the tip jar and you can bat them away.
You'll be working every day of the week with the last day requiring you to pay rent which will increase as time goes on. Between days you'll have a chance to purchase different upgrades for the shop.
Tips and Tricks
Though the game may look simple, it can't be rushed. It's better to serve a few customers well than a lot of customers pourly (pun intended). The notch is very sensitive and the soda will also create foam as it's served, so learn to have a light touch and estimate where the liquid and foam will settle concerning the serving line.
