This game shows a tiny sliver of what they were capable of by crafting an ancient maze. As the person trapped within, you need to examine everything that you can to have any chance of getting out. Every wall could be a clue to the next room, every object could be an important piece of the puzzle, and you'll never know what works until you actually try to move it. Curiosity may be your best weapon in making your escape.
How to Play
Escape Ancient Egypt is a 3D puzzle game about getting through an ancient Egyptian maze using the mouse. To interact with UI and gameplay elements, move the cursor over to them and click the Left Mouse Button. Depending on the object, you may be able to move it by holding down the button and dragging the cursor. The goal is to escape the building by solving puzzles and moving through the rooms. You'll only fail should you choose to give up and make this place your tomb.
When you begin, you'll start in an empty chamber with a door to slide open. From there, you'll move from room to room by opening each of their doors. Each door will have a different locking mechanism that you need to figure out. They can range from moving dials on a table, to sliding fixtures around, to moving objects to different spots. You'll need to keep interacting with the pieces until they're arranged in such a way that the mechanism activates. When you solve a puzzle, a vision of the pharaoh will appear to congratulate you.
Tips and Tricks
Since this is a puzzle game, it's all about examining all the pieces and clues you have before you. Sometimes the environment itself will give you clues such as notches or worn parts of the wall to follow. Other times you will need to experiment with the pieces to learn their properties and see how they function together.
