Since you're trained to drive it, you're on the frontline of the operations as you decide to delve into the various rock deposits, hoping to strike it rich through treasure or just some good-quality rock. The rock will be resilient and you'll need to be prepared to spend money on improving your operations so that you can keep pushing deeper through the earth.

There are so many different options you have when it comes to scratching that mining itch, but there's something so satisfying about mining. This game will let you see it and feel it for yourself as you put everything on the line to run a drilling business. Your machine is solid, but the rock you'll encounter will be even more solid, and you must keep pushing forward. Sacrifices will have to be made, and it'll be tough to make a profit if your equipment is not up to par. By balancing drilling with improvements, therein lies the trick to striking it big in the drilling business.

How to Play

Drill Quest is a 3D mining game in which players use the keyboard to drive an enormous drilling machine through different rock deposits.

Controls

W/Up Arrow - Move Forward
S/Down Arrow - Move Backward
A/Left Arrow - Move Left
D/Right Arrow - Move Right

The goal is to drill through the different rock bodies and collect the ore for processing and selling. Your driller is strong enough to drill through multiple kinds of rock deposits, but only as much time as you're willing to put into it. The game ends when you decide to step away from your drilling venture.

You'll start in your hub with access to the Market, Upgrades, Levels, Shop, and Construction. More features will become available as you make it through levels to improve your operations, but the most important are the Market, where you can sell the ore, and the Upgrades, where you can improve your drills and vehicle. Each level will present an area of blocky rocks that you can drill through and collect as they become loose. When your cargo is full, you must head to the market to unload your haul and earn coins. Once you've broken through all the blocks in an area, you can move on to the next level.

Tips and Tricks

This is a game where you need to take your time to drill through some of the sturdier rocks if you want to save money. The fastest upgrades are those for your drill, which will let you break through rock faster, followed by those that increase your vehicle stats. Just remember to check the different facilities for any available improvements.
