The goal is to be the last one standing at the end of a series of mini-games. Each mini-game has its own rules and objectives that will be shown at the start of the game. The whole contest is a free-for-all where you're competing with every other player. You have no attacks or defenses, but you can knock down players by running or jumping into them and vice versa. If you're eliminated at any point during a mini-game, you're out of the contest and you need to enter a new one.
Though each of the mini-games can differ, they revolve around platforming mechanics. This means that you're trying to prevent yourself from falling for as long as possible. This can involve running through obstacle courses, navigating falling platforms, or endurance challenges. When making contact with a moving obstacle, your character will be knocked down and take a few moments to get up. In terms of mini-games like races, you'll have multiple chances to finish if you fall off the course.
Back at the main menu, you can use the coins collected and earned by playing and winning to purchase cosmetics. This can make your competitor stand out with Hats and other accessories. You can also try your chance at the Chests which can reward you with random items in exchange for coins.
Tips and Tricks
Unfortunately, some mini-games require you to spawn in certain locations to have the most success. Even if they don't, you're best off keeping your distance from other players. Getting caught in a crowd has the chance to trip you up or eliminate you completely.
