What are you going to do when the zombies start appearing? Will you join the horde, or will you follow the example of survivors like in Zombie Redemption. It's the near future where science has done some scientific stuff and released a chemical that has turned most of the population into zombies. Many folks have already been eaten or turned, while others have done their best to escape or hunker down in whatever shelter they can make. However, you are a survivor and a vigilante who will be taking to the streets and trying to clean up the mess that science has made while trying to make things safer for the people.

About Zombie Redemption

There isn't anything a zombie can do to redeem itself since the mind is completely gone, but they shouldn't be left to suffer. This game has you as someone fighting zombies, not just for the living but to put the undead to rest. Unfortunately, no one ever knows when a zombie outbreak will strike, so all you can do is make the best of what you have. Take whatever you can carry while staying mobile, and be prepared for some very messy encounters. It'll take you a while before you can cure this infection, so you've gotta keep going back in.

How to Play

Zombie Redemption is a 2D arcade-style game about fighting the hordes of undead using the mouse and/or keyboard.

Controls

The goal is to head to the infected zones and slay as many zombies as possible. All your health and ammo stats will be in the top left and right corners of the screen. All of your available power-ups will be lined up at the top. You need to keep slaying as many zombies as possible, and once your health hits zero, the run will be over.

The main menu hub area is where you can prepare for the coming battles. You can visit the shops to get all sorts of things, such as weapons, power-ups, potions, and energy to keep fighting. You can also check the missions to see what you need to do to earn extra rewards. When ready, you can choose which area to take on and head there immediately. You'll spawn in the center of the area, and the zombies will come from either the left or right sides. As zombies approach, you can attack them with your equipped weapon or power-ups. Each power-up has a limited number of uses, will last a certain amount of time, and will take a while to cool down. They can range from making you faster to bombarding the area with explosives. The longer you last and the more zombies you destroy, the greater your rewards.

Tips and Tricks

This is a ticking clock scenario when you're just waiting for the moment that the zombies overwhelm you. It would help to spend some time looking at the Info section and seeing all the different kinds of zombies, so you know which ones to prioritize. The more zombies group together, the more you should use weapons with excellent coverage, like shotguns.

Zombie Redemption Game Modes

The game currently offers four modes to try:

Graveyard - These are the freshest zombies and will be the fastest.
City - These are experimental zombies; you never know what will appear.
Bridge - These are the toughest zombies, made to tank damage.
Metro - All the zombies gather here to attack you!
