We return to the frontlines of WWII seemingly every year, whether in film or games like Warfare 1942 - Online Shooter. It's the sequel to the Great War, and you're a soldier who has been deployed and must do everything they can to contribute to the effort. You're in a hot battle zone with allies and enemies all around you, and you have no choice but to run and fight for as long as you can. The fighting is never easy, and should you get caught off guard, you're as good as dead. All you can do is keep moving and make every shot you take count towards the life of your allies or your own.

About Warfare 1942 - Online Shooter

The games about WWII tend to be similar, having you play the various sides in notable conflicts to see how things shake out. In this game, you're doing the same, and you'll fight and return for as long as you stay connected. The weapons aren't the most reliable, and you're pretty vulnerable as a young soldier, so you can't afford to be careless. You must be smart and cautious to survive long enough to make a difference. If you get too reckless, you'll constantly highlight your position and become another KIA. Fight the good fight, and you might come back home safely.

How to Play

Warfare 1942 - Online Shooter is a 3D first-person competitive shooter about fighting WWII battles using the mouse and keyboard.

The goal is to take control by eliminating the enemy forces. You can see your health bar and the map in the top right corner of the screen. The team stats will be shown in the center at the top of the screen. Matches will be decided based on points and time. Whenever your health drops to zero, you'll fall and have to respawn.

The main menu allows you to outfit your hero with weapons, tools, and even a pet, all unlocked via progress and currency. When your soldier is ready, you can jump into the mode screen to select the kind of match you want to play. After enough players join the game, you can run around the map. Each mode will have you going after enemies or key locations you can find through exploration. Engaging enemies will allow you to gain points through eliminations, or you can assist your allies in combat. The match will end once the timer runs out or one of the sides gets the required amount of points.

Tips and Tricks

Since this is a competitive shooter, you must be aggressive and responsive. You won't make a big impact by playing it safe and avoiding battle; you must seek out your opponents. While exploring, always check that you have some cover nearby, and as soon as you get shot, run for cover. It's much easier to look for attackers from a safe place than out in the open.

Deathmatch - Help your team get the top score by eliminating opponents.
Mayhem - It's every man for himself to get the most kills and points.
At Knifepoint - A match where you need melee kills to score points.
Capture the Point - Find the area, take control, and hold it for as long as possible.
