How to Play
Vex X3M 2 is a 2D driving game about riding a motorcycle across various courses using only the keyboard.
Controls
- W/Up Arrow - Accelerate
- S/Down Arrow - Decelerate
- A/Left Arrow - Tilt Left
- D/Right Arrow - Tilt Right
The goal is to get the motorcycle to the end of each course. The timer is shown in the top left corner of the screen, while the death counter is in the top right corner. If your rider or bike lands incorrectly or hits any hazard, it will crash. The faster and with fewer deaths you complete a course, the more stars you'll earn.
The main menu lets you choose a bike for your rider and unlock more models using the coins you earn. You can also check the list of achievements to complete for additional rewards. Once your rider is ready, you can head to the level-select and pick any level you've unlocked via progress. When the level starts, your rider will spawn in the starting area and can start riding. As you continue the course, you'll have to interact with elements like ramps, loops, boosters, and falling platforms to get through. You'll also have to avoid hazards like spikes and buzzsaws that will cause an instant crash. Get your rider across the checkered area to complete the course and try out the next one.
Tips and Tricks
The urge to go fast is understandable, but surviving extreme courses is more about balance and control. You must work the tilting functions whenever your rider gets air time to ensure the bike lands safely. Certain elements will require you to build up speed to make it through, but look out for the ending so you don't overshoot.
