Toid Blaster
Look back at some of the oldest games out there, and you may come across a title known as Asteroids, which leads us here to Toid Blaster. You are playing a colorful little space guy flying through space with a robot buddy when nothing happens. The space guy notes this, and how bored he is until suddenly, he gets caught in a very busy part of space. Creatures and ships fly all over the place, but the most dangerous thing is the asteroids. Luckily, his ship is equipped with all sorts of powerful space-age weaponry to deal with them, and it's up to you to use them well.
About Toid Blaster
Asteroids were the simple pleasure of flying through dark space with asteroids to break apart with your blasters, and it's still good fun. This game tries to take some of that good fun and make it more colorful. This time, space is full of activity, but the asteroids seem focused on reaching your ship while everything else just flies around. You have no choice but to clear out this space until you can get to a better part. At least you have an infinite number of blaster shots to keep the asteroids back and blast most of them into dust.
How to Play
Toid Blaster is a 2D arcade game about a spaceship blasting multiple asteroids using the mouse and keyboard. To aim the ship, move the cursor, and its nose will follow it from its central position. The X, C, V, and Spacebar launch your ship's weapons and defenses. Most have limited uses, but X lets you use your infinite blaster. The goal is to destroy enough asteroids so that you can move on. If too many hit your ship, it'll be destroyed.
When the game loads in, you can start playing the first level. The ship will start in the center of the screen with all sorts of objects, vehicles, and creatures flying around. All of them are entirely harmless to your ship and can be ignored. The real danger comes from the asteroids with rocky textures and bright colors. Direct hits with your various weapons will destroy them until they break apart into nothing. Keep shooting the asteroid until your ship can move on to the next part of the asteroid-filled space.
Tips and Tricks
Since you have an infinite number of blaster shots, there's no harm in firing them every which way. Considering the spread of your shots, there's always a chance one of them will destroy asteroids before they get too close to cause any damage. Save your special weapons and defenses only for large groups.
