How to Play
Skateboard Wheelie is a 2D endless runner about trying to maintain a trick using the mouse or the keyboard. By clicking and holding either the Left Mouse Button or the Spacebar, the skateboarder will start to lean back on the back wheel. Letting go of either button will cause the skateboarder to lean forward. The goal is to maintain the wheelie for as long as possible to keep your score growing.
The skateboarder has a surprising amount of balance but does have some limitations. If he leans back past the 90-degree angle, he'll lose control and fall which will end the run. On the contrary, once a wheelie starts it has to be maintained as landing the board back on the ground counts as ending the trick. While skating, you'll come across outlines indicating an angle for the skateboarder to copy as he passes through. If you do so, you'll get a boost to your score.
At the main menu, you can visit the shop to spend the coins you earn on different looks for your skateboarder. The starting price for the cheapest option is 30 coins.
Tips and Tricks
The game is all about balance and maintaining a rhythm which is easier to do when you're relaxed. You don't need to worry about obstacles knocking you off balance so just focus on finding the rhythm of button presses. Try not to get distracted by the sudden requests of outlines as that can cause you to make a rash movement.
