Nobody wants to be trapped in a dark and desolate place, but then that's where many games take place, like Silent Asylum 2. You are some poor, unfortunate soul who has once again become trapped in an abandoned asylum. It becomes very apparent why this place was abandoned in the first place because of the apparent danger it represents. Monsters and creatures have been drawn to the darkness and will now have you to feed upon. Don't give them that chance, and keep your strength to fight back. Keep moving forward, and you'll find a way out of here… if you survive that long.

About Silent Asylum 2

Asylums are near the top of the list of places you never want to be trapped in, but games don't give you that chance. This game plunges you right into the middle of an asylum that would be quiet if not for all the monsters hanging around. You can make your own noise, too, with all the firepower you happen to have with you. Still, the monsters are never-ending and will eventually win out against your last stand. You need to stay focused and not get lost otherwise, you'll become even more trapped, and your ammo will eventually run out…

How to Play

Silent Asylum 2 is a 3D first-person horror game about trying to escape an asylum filled with monsters using the mouse and keyboard.

The goal is to reach the exit and escape the different areas of the asylum. You've got your health and ammo counters in the screen's bottom-left and bottom-right corners. If your health hits zero, you'll die and will need to retry.

When you begin, you'll have only a pistol, a knife, and a flashlight. You'll start in an enclosed area of the asylum with no direction except whichever you choose. As you move, monsters spawn at different points and start hunting you. They will either be slow but resilient pyramid creatures or fast but more vulnerable twisted personnel. You can shoot at them to eliminate them, but more will keep spawning as long as you remain. If you reach the exit area, you'll move on to the next level, where you'll get a new weapon for your troubles.

Tips and Tricks

This scenario will drain you by constantly hurling monsters at you to cut off your routes. The pyramid monsters are slow enough to outrun and evade easily, but the personnel are the more significant threat because they are more common and faster. Save your ammo for them, and keep looking for Exit signs to lead you in the right direction.
