Rope Rescue is a challenge to save as many lives as possible using one of the more difficult tools. You're a coordinator who has access to a seemingly endless amount of flexible and sturdy rope. Some unfortunate people have gotten trapped on a platform and must find a way to the other platform via ropes. You must connect the rope between the two points to allow the people to move between the platforms. Thankfully, people can defy gravity and physics as long as they hold onto the rope, so feel free to experiment. The rope will never run out, so you must maximize it.
About Rope Rescue
With all the puzzle games, you can make a puzzle involving almost anything as long as there is a space for pieces. In this game, the space is the whole level, and the piece is your magic rope. You can stretch the rope in wild ways, and the people will trust your judgment as they hold onto it and move between the two platforms. It's your responsibility to keep the people safe, not just by laying the rope but also by giving them orders to use the rope when necessary. If there are any accidents, just play with the rope more.
How to Play
Rescue Rope is a 2D puzzle game about using rope to move people between platforms using the mouse. Hold the Left Mouse Button over the starting point to stretch the rope and then drag the cursor. To attach the rope, you must let go of the button over the other connection point. Once the rope is attached, use the Left Mouse Button to send people along it. The goal is to get all the people from one platform to another. If all the people don't make it, you must try again.
The main menu lets you visit a shop where you can change the appearance of the people you're trying to save. After that, you can continue with the current level and keep making progress. Each level has a contained area with two platforms. The people will be on one platform and need to be moved to the other via a rope between them. As long as the two points are connected, the rope can be stretched and bent around the various obstacles and objects. While the rope is immune to buzzsaws, the people are not, so you must use caution when sending them down. When all the people reach the other platform, you'll win and can move on to the next level.
Tips and Tricks
This simple puzzle game depends on how you place the rope and the rate at which you send down the people. When there are immobile hazards, stretch the rope away from them to guarantee safety. With moving hazards, try to place the rope to minimize contact, then send people down in small groups.
