The goal of the game is to earn points by shooting your opponent off the rooftop using whatever weapon you have. Your gun stands down at your side, but by holding the button you can change its trajectory with the aim to point it at your opponent. When you let go of the button, the gun will fire and then will start to fall down to your side. You can jump to avoid enemy shots or get a better aiming angle but you can't move forward on your own. You need to use the recoil of firing or getting hit to start rocking back and forth. With the right timing, you can jump to move backward or forward. Whoever gets to 5 points first, wins.
Tips and Tricks
In such a tense scenario, it may be tempting to just start spamming shots, but you must fight the urge. It's better to take fewer well-placed shots than multiple wild shots, especially since there's cooldown time between shots. Always aim for the head or feet since these parts affect balance the most while body shots have good knockback.
Rooftop Snipers Game Modes
This game only allows for one or two players to play together, only ever having two characters on a rooftop at a time. However, modifiers can appear randomly in each round. These will affect things that your character's appearance to their weapon which can be as small as a pistol or as large as a rocket launcher.
The rooftops can also change to be larger or smaller. They can also have different layouts such as ramps which can greatly affect maneuverability. There can also be environmental hazards added in like additional people being dropped onto the rooftop to block shots. Lastly, player properties can be affected to the point where they can jump higher or be sent flying further per shot.
