This game is an action-packed puzzle in a way since it's about taking out criminals with a few bullets. Each of the areas is contained with the targets kept in very specific locations with obstacles creating a course of sorts. Firing wildly isn't the solution to anything and you're encouraged to observe everything closely and figure out just how your bullets fly. The puzzles can be short and solved accidentally, but the challenge is to try and solve them most efficiently.
How to Play
Ricochet Kills is a 2D puzzle game about trying to take out criminals with a few bullets using just the mouse. You can change the angle of your aim by moving the cursor around the screen and then fire by pressing the Left Mouse Button. The bullet will fly around the screen, taking out any target that it hits. The number of bullets left and level information are shown at the bottom of the screen. The goal is to take out every enemy on the level with as few bullets as possible and if you run out, you'll have to retry.
With each level, your character will spawn in the bottom corner of the screen. The levels will be constructed out of a variety of metal beams and objects with criminals placed on different horizontal surfaces. From your location, you need to fire the gun in such a way that the bullet will hit as many targets as possible. The bullet can pierce multiple targets at once, but only has a limited number of bounces. The fewer number of shots it takes you to complete the level, the better your score.
Tips and Tricks
There is no time limit to the puzzles which means that you can take all the time you need to figure out the best angles. It's helpful to view the levels as pool tables and plot out trajectories carefully. Never take the same shot twice.
