About Red Hands - 2 Player Game
It's odd to find a game based on something physical that can very easily be recreated with two people standing in a room. This game however brings such an experience to the digital world so that you don't have to risk hurting your hands. Well, you may risk damaging your keyboard if you're too enthusiastic. Just like the real-world counterpart, each player is just trying to prove that they're the fastest and to stay on the giving rather than the receiving end. Even though the physical nature may have been reduced, the intensity is still quite present as you test your true speed.
How to Play
Red Hands - 2 Player Game is a 2D versus game that recreates slaps on your screen using the keyboard. Player 1 uses the WASD to navigate the menus and Q/Spacebar to play, while Player 2 uses the Arrow Keys and P/Enter to play. Before you begin, you can choose the hand to represent you and then head into the match. The goal is to get the most points by landing the most slaps. The first to get the high score wins.
When the game starts, Player 1 will be on the left side and Player 2 will be on the right. One of them will start in the attacking position while the other defends. When you're attacking, your button prompts let you launch your hand to slap the opponent's hand, while the defender can use their button prompts to retreat and try to avoid the slap. If the slap misses, the players swap positions. However, if the defender retreats three times when the attacker doesn't try to slap, they will be forced to receive a free hit as a penalty.
Tips and Tricks
Like rock-paper-scissors, this is essentially a mind game. You need to get into the opponent's head so that you can ascertain how they will behave. The sooner you pick up on their habits, the sooner you can control the game.
