Farming is not easy and don't let any of these casual farming games let you think any differently, sometimes you'll need to solve problems like in Puzzle Farming. There's a lot of planning and organization that goes into farming and it's on you to do it properly. You have all the tools and equipment you need to run a good farm and help those do the same. The issue is that land is sensitive and it can be very easy to mess it up if you aren't paying attention. Look at the lay of the land and then move to make it fit for a bounty.
About Puzzle Farming
Farming is a puzzle in the sense that you need to consider many bits and pieces together and separately so that you can solve it. This game makes it quite literal in that you have farmland which is a puzzle. You're trying to farm it in a farm so that every part of the land gets the same amount of attention so that every plot can grow together and support the same crops (or different crops depending on the farmer. The challenge is finding a way to plan your tilling so that you hit all of the land and avoid ruining it.
How to Play
Puzzle Farming is a 3D isometric puzzle game about farming different plots using either the mouse or keyboard. To move the tractor with the mouse, just click the Left Mouse Button on an empty plot of land.
Controls
- Up Arrow - Move Up
- Down Arrow - Move Down
- Left Arrow - Move Left
- Right Arrow - Move Right
The goal is to farm the whole plot of land by driving the tractor over the green patches until all of them have been reached. If you ever have to go back over the same plot, you'll need to redo the puzzle. The amount of money you're earning will be shown at the top of the screen and the time you have left is in the top right left corner. You'll earn extra money based on how much time is remaining when you finish all the land.
You can start playing right from the start and the tractor will be placed in one of the corners of the plot. The tractor can only go forward, it can't reverse. You need to drive the tractor along a path that will hit every single green patch on the farm. Once you hit each one, you'll complete the level and receive your score. Sometimes there will be crops and other obstacles to limit your movement or the plot of land will be a different shape to alter the challenge.
Tips and Tricks
Even though time is a big factor in these puzzles, there's still plenty to spare. Take a few moments to observe the full plot of land so that you can spot tricky points. Try to see a clear endpoint and trace a path toward it.

The difference between the two aside from the titles, is that one is designed for web browser play while the other is a downloadable version for a low price.
