Path Ice
Nothing feels better on a hot day than a nice cool drink and the thing that helps make it that way is some ice like that in Path Ice. Ice is something that we don't think about regularly. We don't need ice until we suddenly get a craving from something really cold or if the day just happens to be a bit too warm. This is where we get the urge to grab a bag and put as much as possible into our drinks. That's your job here and you need to ensure no ice is wasted so that maximum coolness is achieved.
About Path Ice
There's not a lot to consider when it comes to putting ice into a cup, but sometimes the easiest tasks are the easiest to mess up. This game presents an unconventional way of getting ice into a cup that you need to learn. You can't just simply drag ice from one spot to another, it needs to be directed and you need to set out a path for it. Ice is slippery so it can move a lot on its own as long as it has the environment to do so. It just needs to be a smooth and supportive one.
How to Play
Path Ice is a 2D puzzle game about guiding blocks of ice into a cup to cool down the drink using only the mouse. To draw a line, click and hold the Left Mouse Button and then move the cursor in whatever shape you want. To interact with the UI elements and the ice box, mouse the cursor over to them and click the Left Mouse Button. All of the relevant level information will be tracked at the top of the screen. The goal is to get the requested amount of ice into the cup and if you run out of ice before that, you'll need to retry the level.
Before you go into the level, you can customize the ice cubes and cups to suit your style. After that, you can start playing. The setup is that there will be a box of ice moving back and forth near the top of the screen and the cup will be below. There can be solid bars between them or number bars that will add or subtract ice that drops through them. You need to click on the ice box to drop ice to get it into the cup. You can use the marker to create solid lines to help make sure that the ice goes into the cup. However, the marker is limited as indicated by a percentage at the top of the screen next to the amount of ice you need to get into the cup.
If you don't like a line you've drawn, you can use the red circle eraser to remove it. Once you've gotten enough ice into the cup, you can move on to the next level.
Tips and Tricks
As long as you have a clear path and good timing, you can easily drop ice into the cup below without drawing anything. However, drawing diagonal lines leading into the cup is a secure way to guarantee that ice will make its way there.
