Neon Shot
A device that has starred in many games is the catapult and it has taken so many forms including the colorful form in Neon Shot. You have gained access to a powerful catapult slingshot that is made of pure neon and it functions in a neon universe. However, even in a realm of light, color, and dark backdrops, there are things that need to be broken. This is where you get to put your powerful neon catapult to use with neon balls that can be launched far and wide… within reason. This is where you can see a whole new city of lights.
About Neon Shot
Catapult games are all about the same things: Using them to launch projectiles over other things to break specific things. This game takes all those things and slaps a neon coating of paint on it. This makes it a vibrant sight of light to behold as you try to find the right angle to launch your neon balls across the level. There are many breakables that you can see will work with you after you start breaking them. You need to see if you're able to find consistent launches that can consistently net you a win by hitting all of your targets.
How to Play
Neon Shot is a 2D arcade game about using a catapult to break targets and other things with the mouse. To launch a ball, move the cursor inside the ring surrounding the catapult. Click and hold the Left Mouse Button in the catapult and pull the cursor back to adjust the trajectory and then let go to launch. The goal of each level is to break all the targets with as few balls as possible. If you run out of balls before breaking all the targets, you'll need to restart the level. You can choose between Easy and Hard Mode for differing challenges.
Once you pick a level, you'll be assigned a certain number of balls that can be refilled between levels. The catapult will be on the left side while all the targets will be on the right side. The targets can be perched on boxes, planks, and other objects. Depending on the type of objects, they may take more or less shots to destroy. Targets are destroyed upon contact with a ball while coins arranged around the level are collected in the same way and will improve your score. Objects like rock structures can't be destroyed and will need to be fired over.
Tips and Tricks
Keep the number of balls shown in the corner always on mind. Never risk more than one (or at most two) on test shots. When aiming a shot, the trajectory line is very accurate so you should trust it. Whenever there's a TNT crate, try to trigger it with as few shots as possible.
