You are one of the many figures who are fortunate to have the same chambers as the king. Since His Highness enjoys to enjoy the vastness of his castle, this is the opportunity to seize power. The king feels very secure in his position and that means he trusts those who can get close to him. This shall be his downfall as you too will take out the king yourself and seize the throne.

The king is a position that many aspire to obtain and are willing to give up plenty to get it. You need to be willing to risk everything you have to get close enough to the king to take his crown when he is as vigilant as a ruler should be. You need to bide your time and strike at the right moment.

How to Play

Murder is a 2D flash game about trying to become the king by killing him and taking his crown using the keyboard. To ready the killing blow, you need to hold down the Left Mouse Button and a meter at the top will fill up. Once it's full, you'll strike down at the king. When you are the king, you can press the spacebar to glance behind you at those who are getting a little too close. The goal is to become the king and remain the king for as long as you can. If you get killed or caught, you'll just have to wait for the next opportunity.

The main menu leads you into the game where the one trying to take power is already behind the king. The two will slowly walk from left to right and you'll need to charge your strike fully to kill the king. If the king looks behind himself and sees you charging your strike, you'll be immediately caught and thrown in the dungeon. Should you kill the king, you'll take his crown and assume his position. As you continue walking, others will appear behind you and try to strike you down and you need to be quick to catch them in the act. Depending on who you let get close to, you can get one of several endings.

Tips and Tricks

When you're trying to kill the king, keep in mind that charging up your strike can take quite a while. During this time, you're vulnerable to being caught so watch the king's gestures and eyes carefully to know when to stop charging.
