Mini Arrows
The slimes are back and this time they are at the whim of their environments because they just can't stay still in Mini Arrows. The story follows a slime that is trying to get through a series of contained lands the only way it knows how… by moving. Unfortunately, the slime can't do much on its own and that's where you come in since you can change how the land helps the slime. You can activate the various arrows to affect how the slime moves around and get it to the point where it can move to the next area.
About Mini Arrows
Slimes have appeared in all sorts of games and there's no sign that they're going to be leaving any time soon, but they have their own things going on. This game shows just another slime-based adventure and what they might be trying to do. True to its nature, the slime is a cute but highly vulnerable creature that can get hurt from even the smallest traps. You're a guide but also a protector who has to change the land so that it doesn't seem as dangerous. The risk is that if you're too careless, you can lead the slime right into danger.
How to Play
Mini Arrows is a 2D platforming puzzle game about guiding a slime through multiple levels using the mouse or keyboard. To switch the arrows on and off, press either the X or Spacebar keys on the keyboard or click the Left Mouse Button. The goal is to get the slime safely to the swirling portal that leads to the next level. The slime will move either left or right on its own and will change based on the active arrows it finds. If the slime gets hurt in any way, you'll need to retry the level.
Each level will drop the slime off in a specific part and the slime will start moving in one direction or the other. If it hits a wall, the slime will simply stop. There are arrow blocks located around the level which can change which way the slime is moving or launch it into the air. When some blocks are active, others are not and you need to alternate between them to guide the slime. As you progress, dangers such as spikes and enemies will appear that the slime will need to avoid or risk being splatted.
Tips and Tricks
Since the slime is moving on its own, there is some kind of time constraint, but this isn't always the case. See to the slime that it's in a safe area and then examine the level and all the active arrows. See the clear path to the portal and then activate the arrows as needed.
