Microplastics Feeding
The ocean is vital to the preservation of all life on Earth and currently, it's facing a lot of pollution like you can see in Microplastics Feeding. There is hope in terms of clean-up efforts and the appearance of certain creatures that can feed on plastic, like the star of this adventure. You are playing a fish with an insatiable appetite for microplastics and have no trouble breaking them down in its stomach. The fish is hungry for them and you need to help guide it to the spots where it can consume as many as possible. Doing so will leave you with happier fish and a cleaner ocean.
About Microplastics Feeding
You can play tons of games about fish eating things and they usually result in the fish getting bigger and dealing with even bigger fish. This game is less dangerous in that the fish is just focusing on eating plastic and cleaning the ocean. The problem is that this fish's diet has given it some difficulties when it comes to swimming carefully. The swim is relying on you to guide it through the ocean so that it can reach the plastics and avoid crashing into the reef. The fish is only as alert as you're able to make it.
How to Play
Microplastics Feeding is a 2D arcade game about a fish that needs to eat all the microplastics using the mouse or keyboard. The get the fish to change direction, click the Left Mouse Button or press the Spacebar. The fish will always turn at sharp 90-degree angles. The goal is to eat all of the microplastics in the area. If the fish runs into a solid object or a hazard, it'll lose a life and if it loses all of them, it's game over.
When you begin, the fish will start on one side of the screen in a contained level with microplastics scattered around. The fish will automatically swim forward and eat any microplastics it comes into contact with. It's not restricted to pathways and can freely move in the open water, but will only ever swim directly left and right or up and down. Some bubbles contain arrows that will change the direction in which the fish can turn (clockwise or counter-clockwise). Once the fish has eaten all of the microplastics, the level will be clear and you can move on.
Tips and Tricks
The levels can be quite cramped with solid rocks while the fish is fairly big and can swim fairly fast. You need to be ready to change its direction as soon as approaches lines of microplastics, but be careful not to turn too sharply. The arrow bubbles are not necessary to collect, but they can make maneuvering certain areas a bit easier.
