Mahjong Connect
Mahjong is an ancient tile-based game that is most often seen being played among senior citizens but Mahjong Connect tries to make it quicker and more accessible. This is a digital version of the game where you have all the designs with many of the same designs from the original game. It's certainly more casual than the original physical version. In a way, it's about organization where it's just you versus the game and you're trying to sort out all of the tiles. The game challenges you to think sharply and make smooth moves without locking yourself out of a win.
About Mahjong Connect
There are many variants of Mahjong but the main thing that changes is the theming with maybe some additional mechanics thrown in. This game is close to base Mahjong but has some of the benefits of a snappy mobile game. There's not much that you need to master with a lot of leniency being given as you play. The solutions can seemingly pop up quite fast as you begin making moves, but this is also a trap. You can't get too complacent or you'll need to go back a few moves or even restart the whole setup. This is a relaxed form of Mahjong with still a twist of challenge.
How to Play
Mahjong Connect is a 2D top-down tile-based puzzle game that you can play using just the mouse. To interact with tiles, move your cursor over to them and click the Left Mouse Button. Additional mechanics can be found in the UI at the top of the screen. The goal is the same as regular Mahjong: You're doing your best to clear all the tiles off the board without trapping any from their matches.
When the level begins, the tiles will fall into a tall column from the top of the screen. Once they're placed, you can start making matches. To match a tile, you must click on two tiles with the same image on them. When tiles are matched, they're removed from the board and other tiles will fall to fill the space. However, tiles can only be matched if a clear path can be drawn between them. If not, other matches will have to be made to open up space and make more matches possible. When all the tiles are removed, you'll complete the level.
Tips and Tricks
The problem is that making matches can seem quick and clear but this can lead to mistakes. If tiles fall in a way that can't be matched and block other matches, you'll have to go back a few moves or even restart the whole level. Work from the outside toward the center.

FAQs
Is Mahjong Connect easier than regular Mahjong?
Traditional Mahjong may be simpler in appearance but it's more difficult in that it arranges the tiles in layers so that you have to consider those levels when making matches.
