If you ever want examples of evil, you can always just look at history and see some truly terrible figures who would be sent on a Journey Through Hell. One infamous figure is Adolf Hitler who caused more pain, terror, and suffering than should ever have occurred. In this story, Mr. Hitler was unsurprisingly sent to Hell to suffer for all eternity. However, while in Hell, he decided to explore the various regions of the torturous realm to see what else it had to offer. As he does so, he'll encounter more of what makes Hell a horrifying place to be and will continue to suffer as he continues to burn.

About Journey Through Hell

Games love to explore the concept of the afterlife and Hell has been depicted in so many ways that it's a struggle to come up with new ones. This game opts for the classic depiction of Hell as a place full of stone and fire. Since it also has to serve as the backdrop for a game, the realm has been rearranged to allow for some exploration. The challenge is to make your way through Hell while encountering various traps and open areas where Mr. Hitler can fall into fire and lava. Traps and fire make for a very painful combination.

How to Play

Journey Through Hell is a 3D platforming game about Mr. Hitler making his way through Hell using the keyboard.

Controls

Cursor - Look
W - Move Forward
S - Move Backward
A - Turn Left
D - Turn Right
Spacebar - Jump
Shift - Run
Q - Roll

The goal is to reach the end of each region of Hell. The pathway will be laid out before you and you simply need to follow it to the end. Mr. Hitler has no health but is vulnerable to anything so any direct harm will send him back a ways.

When you begin, Mr. Hitler will spawn at the entrance to the current region. From there, he needs to follow the path through the area. Some of the paths will be enclosed while other parts will be open where it's possible to fall into the fires below. There will also be traps like swinging balls that can knock Mr. Hitler off platforms and into the lava. If he manages to reach the large arches or doors at the end of the region, the area will be complete and he'll move on to the next one.

Tips and Tricks

This is a platform game where you need to focus on precise movement and jumping to make progress. The faster you move, the more likely you are to make mistakes, so use caution around areas with lots of pits or narrow pathways. Sprinting is not necessary but can be a useful burst of speed to get past certain hazards.
