There was a time when matching jewels was all the rage and we couldn't get enough of them… and we still can't hence Jewel Halloween. You have found yourself in a realm where it's always Halloween and the only thing that matters is jewels. But not so fast, you can't have any of these jewels unless you sort them together in the right ways and remove them from their glassy prison. Also, it's not jewels, it's candy since this is Halloween after all and the only more valuable than jewels on a night such as this, is having more sugar than any other person or monster out there.
About Jewel Halloween
People have been matching jewels pretty much since mobile gaming has been a thing and now we're just trading out the jewels. Although, according to this game, it seems worthwhile to give up those shiny stones for some sugary treats. Except we're not going around houses dressed in costumes, we're instead using our matching puzzle brains to put the different candies together and collect them for ourselves. Of course, there is such a thing as too much sugar or mixing flavors that don't go well together, so you do need to be mindful about how you do your matching to get what you need.
How to Play
Jewel Halloween is a 2D matching game where you're trying to gather candies using only the mouse. To interact with the candies and the UI, move the cursor over to them and click the Left Mouse Button. To swap candies, click, hold, and then drag it to the adjacent candy you want to swap with it. The goal is to collect the indicated number of specific candies as shown at the top of the screen. Once you get those, you'll beat the level and get rewarded. If you run out of moves, you'll need to retry.
Before you start, you can spin the wheel for a chance at extra rewards and/or boosters and visit the task list to collect any awards. After that, you can jump into the level map and choose any unlocked level with more becoming available as you complete them. At the start of the level, you can choose what boosters you want to take with you and will be shown how many of what types of candy you need to collect. When you swap and match three or more of the same type, they'll be removed from the board. Longer combos will generate special candies that when matched can do things like remove a chunk of candies or a specific type. Collect all the candies you need to beat the level and get money.
Tips and Tricks
This is a matching game where it's about working with a limited number of moves. You can take your time to examine the board and then make moves to reveal more candies that you need. The longer your combos, the more space you'll clear and the more useful power-ups will be.
