The zombies are coming for the games and they'll always be coming for the games so all sorts of people will have to step up like in Dudes vs. Zombies. The outbreak has started and most of society has descended into chaos. The cities have fallen and people have either fled, died, or joined the hordes of the undead. However, there's a group of dudes who are choosing to fight back with weapons and other objects that they can use to their advantage. The numbers may be stacked against them, but they've seen enough zombie stuff that they have a chance to last longer than the average survivor.
About Dudes vs. Zombies
Dudes have been fighting zombies in all sorts of media but that doesn't mean that it's gotten any easier. This game has you as just one dude fighting all the zombies in the area by yourself and that can be a bit of a challenge. The zombies will be coming from everywhere and you need to make the most of the weapons that you have so that you can keep the hordes at bay. The longer you last, the more you can earn which can give you more options and take you to new places. It may take a while since slaying zombies doesn't pay well.
How to Play
Dudes vs. Zombies is a 2D arcade zombie game about fighting back endless waves of zombies using the keyboard.
Controls
- W - Move Up
- S - Move Down
- A - Move Left
- D - Move Right
- Up Arrow - Attack Up
- Down Arrow - Attack Down
- Left Arrow - Attack Left
- Right Arrow - Attack Right
The goal is to fight off all the zombies for as long as you can. Your health will be shown at the top of the screen and the amount of money you've collected will be in the top right corner. When your health reaches zero, your run will end and you'll have to try again.
The main menu gives you the option to select your dude and your area with more being unlocked using money earned. Each dude has a different weapon to use against the zombies across the stages. When you start playing, the dude will spawn in the middle of the area and zombies will start spawning from all sides. The zombies will always make their way toward your location and you need to land direct hits on them to defeat them. If you get in range of the zombies, you'll start taking damage. The more zombies you kill, the more money you earn.
Tips and Tricks
The best you can hope for is to not let the zombies surround you too quickly and to always have an area you can cut through. As long as you keep moving in one direction, you can encounter thinner hordes of zombies that are easier to move through. When you unlock more dudes, experiment with their weapons to see which one works best for you.

The main menu shows a tab that lets you watch something to earn coins and you'll get gifts now and then, but the base game is free to download and play.

For some reason, the default language in the game is Russian and there don't appear to be any options to change it.
