Cursed Treasure 1.5
There was a time when towers were the pinnacle of defense systems and there are entire series based around them with titles like Cursed Treasure 1.5. You play as a collective of beings who have gotten their hands on several mystical crystals. These are the cursed treasures that everyone seems to be very keen on having. However, you and your allies found them first and now you've got to work together to keep them safe. This means you'll be sharing resources and magic power to provide all the defenses that you can to get the armies of thieves away from your precious stones.
About Cursed Treasure 1.5
Whenever there's a curse involved, things rarely turn out as well as you'd like them to, but characters are stubborn. This is a game where both the defenders and the attackers are very stubborn about getting their hands on the cursed gems. This means that they will be risking everything they get them and you need to be willing to do the same just to protect them. There's only so much space you can use and only so much magic you can wield at any given time. You need to rely on strategy and all the pieces that you lay out working together in the right way.
How to Play
Cursed Treasure 1.5 is a 2D top-down tower-defense game about protecting several gems using the mouse. To select a tower, move the cursor over to its icon and click the Left Mouse Button. Then move the cursor to the spot where you want to build the tower and click again. The same applies to the casting of spells. The goal is to repel all the attackers and protect the gems from getting stolen. If you lose all your gems, you need to retry the level.
From the main menu, you can move into the level select to play any level that's been unlocked through progress. Each level has a different layout of paths and places to build. You have access to three armies' towers: Orcs, Undead, and Demons. Orc towers are the fastest, being able to fire arrows quickly at approaching targets. Undead towers have the longest range, shooting corruptive energy near and far. Demon towers are the most damaging, firing a continuous beam to drain enemy health. Each tower can only be built on empty land matching its color. Once built, a tower will attack any target that comes in range.
You also have spells that can be used to deal direct damage to enemies. Spells require mana that will recharge over time and will be boosted by building towers on mana hotspots. When enemies are defeated, they'll drop gold which can be used to build new towers or upgrade existing ones. Enemies that reach the gems will take one at a time and try to carry it out of the area, only dropping them when killed. Once all the waves of enemies have been defeated, you'll clear the level and can spend experience points on improving the effectiveness of your towers and spells.
Tips and Tricks
Like with other tower-defense games, the key to victory is having a diverse mix of towers. The more different types of damage you can hit enemies with, the quicker you can wear them down and the more you can learn about them. Spells should be saved for emergencies considering how costly they are and the slow recovery of mana.
