No one knows how the world of cricket was changed by the events of 2020, but one can guess that the athletes persevere in one way or another. They kept up their training so that they could be ready to hit those very hard balls that were bowled at them at high speeds. It's the only way to protect your legs and hopefully counterattack the ball into the sky.

How to Play
Cricket 2020 is a 2D sports game about hitting balls in the world of Cricket using the mouse to get the job done. The cursor is used to interact with the UI elements, but the main star is the Left Mouse Button that you can click to swing the bat. Everything else happens automatically, such as the balls being pitched at you and the number of points gained from hitting the ball. The goal is to get as many points as possible before you're knocked out.
When the game begins, your batter will appear on the left side of the screen in front of a bright red wicket. This is something you need to protect with your bat since your body will naturally move out of the way to avoid damage. The balls that come at you can be thrown slow or fast, low or high, and you'll need to hit them once they get in range. Based on what direction the ball flies in marked by numbers on the right side of the screen, that's the number of points (or "runs") that you'll get for your hit.
If any of the balls successfully hit the wicket, it's an automatic out and you'll be left with whatever amount of points you scored.
Tips and Tricks
Like with many sports, timing is a main part of scoring and getting the ball to where you want it to be. Your batter takes a moment to recover after every swing, so make sure each one counts. The closer the ball gets, the more power it'll receive upon contact.
