Crash the Robot!
Robots are the future in most realities, and we may arrive sooner than we think, but we don't know if things will end up like Crash the Robot! This is a possible future where robots will be designed for entertainment due to their construction. Since they have metal bodies that can be put back together, they're submitting themselves to events where they can be destroyed should the contestants make it so. They're placed in puzzling scenarios that you've got to rearrange to crash them and move on. The robots are prepared for this and will even crash themselves if it means that the contest will move forward.
About Crash the Robot!
There's no limit to what a robot can be designed to do, and a fair number of them are made to be entertainers. In this game, the robots are designed to appear as targets in a game show that can only be destroyed by smart contestants. The robots are secure in their tough bodies, but are you secure in your puzzle-solving skills? If not, the robots will get frustrated as they wait for you to try and figure things out. You have time to sit and ponder, but the robots can get impatient, and you'll want to crash something to move on to bigger puzzles.
How to Play
Crash the Robot! Is a 2d puzzle game about arranging items in an environment to destroy robots by using the mouse. To interact with the UI elements, move the cursor over to them and click the Left Mouse Button. To move objects, select them with the cursor, hold the Left Mouse Button, drag them where you want them, and then let go to place them. The goal is to crash the robot at each level. If you use up all your items without being able to crash the robot, you'll need to retry.
The main menu will show you the achievements you can unlock and the ranking system. From there, you can start playing the game and select levels that you've unlocked by progressing. Each level will be an arranged series of objects and platforms with the robot positioned in a specific location. Using items like bombs, you must affect the other objects so that the robot is destroyed. This could be something like blasting a weight into a button so that a trap is activated. Once the robot is definitively destroyed, you'll earn some points and stars and can move on to the next level.
Tips and Tricks
The puzzles give you plenty of time to observe everything and plan how you will use your items. The levels themselves are the main clue that if something is in the level, it's because you're supposed to use it in some way. Experiment with the different objects so you can see how they interact with each other to move around.
