The goal is to become the top soldier by eliminating all the competition. Your health and ammo counters are in the screen's bottom left and right corners, respectively. The timer is displayed at the top center of the screen. The game ends when the timer runs out or one soldier gets the top score first.
The main menu lets you choose to join or create different matches. Each match can have differing rules and maps, but all involve a Free-For-All. Once you pick a map, you'll take a few moments to load into the map before you can start moving. After everyone is set, soldiers can run around the map however they please. Every other soldier is an enemy and direct shots to their body will deal damage until they're eliminated. Each elimination counts as a point towards a soldier's score. If your health hits zero, you'll be eliminated and need a few seconds to respawn. You must earn the most points before the timer runs out or reach the max score first to win the match.
Tips and Tricks
Like other classic FPS games, you need to be quick and responsive, so get some practice with your mouse and keyboard layout. Since this is CS in Minecraft, soldiers will stand out significantly against the backdrop. This will work for and against you, so stay low and avoid crossing over open ground if you can.
