There's a reason why archery is a serious and recognized sport and part of it is because of the intense concentration that it requires. You're stepping into the role of a practicing athletic archer who just wants to get a high score on the target. However, it's not as simple as just aiming and firing. You need to keep an eye on the elements and then pick just the right moment to fire. If you don't you'll soon be a few arrows short of a quiver.

Archery has been around in gaming since there were stories about the medieval and it continues to persevere. Even though archers are rarely painted as tough and muscular warriors, this game shows the amount of focus and power that they wield. It's more of a challenge in both timing and accuracy, not just pointing and clicking where you want the arrow to go. It's about minding your surroundings and only pulling back on the bow when you're sure that you're going to fire and hit the target. Your chances are limited, so don't waste them otherwise you may have to comb the woods for missed shots.
How to Play
Archery King is a 3D shooting game about using a bow and arrow to hit a series of targets using only the mouse. To pull back on the bow, press and hold the Left Mouse Button. To aim, move the cursor around while the bow is pulled and then let go of the Left Mouse Button to fire. The goal is to score as many points on the target as possible. The number of arrows and wind strength are in the bottom left corner while your points and other stats are shown in the top left corner. After you've fired all your arrows, you'll receive stars based on your score. You can also challenge another player to see who can get the high score.
When choosing levels, each one will be arranged similarly. You'll be at the far end of the field facing the target from a distance. After pulling back the arrow, you need to guide the scope of the bow to aim your shot. You'll see where the arrow lands after you fire. The wind sock will indicate the direction and strength of the wind which will affect how your arrow flies. As you progress through the levels, the wind will get stronger and blow in more unusual directions.
Tips and Tricks
Although the levels look simple, you need to note that aiming is never as easy as it seems. The archer is not steady and will drift around while aiming so you need to use the cursor to refine the position. It'll never be completely still, so try to predict its movements and then fire at the right time.

The game seems to do a good job of creating a classic solo archery range with an archer wearing appropriate clothing and wielding a professional bow.

There is an option to play against another player locally to see who can get the higher score, but there are no online options and the game only supports two players for the time being.
