Airplane Pilot Simulator
Flying can be exhilarating but it can also be terrifying, so imagine how the pilot must feel in a game like Airplane Pilot Simulator. Don't think too much about it since the pilot is you! Yes, you've been roped into an airline that sponsors all sorts of planes and you're expected to be able to fly all of them. That's not too tall of an order for a trained pilot, but you're still learning. You've barely gotten your wings and already people are expecting big things, from you. Specifically, they're expecting you to get the planes from one place to another in one piece and to make sure that all passengers always arrive safely.
About Airplane Pilot Simulator
Simulators are everywhere and those involving flying are among the most popular with some of them being more complex than others. This game is one that's simplified but can still challenge your piloting skills. Each of the planes behaves differently and though they look like big and strong machines, they're also extremely sensitive and delicate. All that metal doesn't mean much when you're hitting a solid at a high speed while also falling out of the air. With that in mind, try to keep that out of your mind as you do your best to keep the planes safely in the air.
How to Play
Airplane Pilot Simulator is a 3D simulator about flying different planes to complete different missions using the mouse and keyboard. The online controls can be used by moving the cursor over to them then clicking or holding/dragging the Left Mouse Button.
Controls
- Up Arrow - Increase Speed
- Down Arrow - Decrease Speed
- Left Arrow - Steer Left
- Right Arrow - Steer Right
- W - Descend
- S - Ascend
- A - Rotate Left
- D - Rotate Right
The goal is to complete flying missions by guiding the plane to its goal or destination. The speed is shown on the left side of the screen. If the plane ever hits a solid object or lands too hard, it'll crash and you'll need to retry the mission.
When you start, you'll go through some basic training missions covering two kinds of planes: Airliners and bi-planes. Each level will start you at an airstrip and show you your mission objective. These can involve things like getting from one airstrip to another, flying through all the rings, or rescuing people from the sea. Most missions will task you with completing them by safely landing the plane somewhere else. When you do that, the mission will be cleared and you can move on to the next one.
Tips and Tricks
The levels don't want you to stress while flying so you'll have time to do what you need to do. The sky is open so use that space to practice flying and get a feel for the flight controls. When you prepare for landing, don't slow down too fast, and try to get as close to the ground as you can before the game takes control.
